Police in Homosassa were at the scene of a crash involving two vehicles on Monday, September 20th. The crash happened at the intersection of West Grover Cleveland Boulevard and South Spring Song Terrace.
According to authorities, a red Dodge Ram was traveling westbound on Grover Cleveland behind a white Ford Expedition. The driver of the Ram failed to slow down as the Ford tried to make a turn, causing a rear-end crash between the two vehicles. The driver of the Ram was identified as 52-year-old Kevin Lee Cason. Cason was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Cason's passenger 26-year-old Christian Shaun Myers and a passenger in the Ford, 47-year-old Robin Thornton, were both taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
