The West Palm Beach Police Department responded to a car accident in the city on Friday, March 5th. The crash took place around 2:00 p.m. on Jog Road near the intersection with Okeechobee Boulevard. According to a report from the scene, the collision involved an SUV and a minivan. Following the crash, two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. A 70-year-old man from Kissimmee died in a pedestrian crash that took place in Osceola County on Thursday, March 4th. The collision happened around 8:3 p.m. on U.S. 192 near Simpson Road. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a 31-year-old Naples man was driving westbound on U.S. 192. At the same time, the 70-year-old man attempted to cross the highway on foot. The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle and died at the crash scene. At this time, officials have not released the pedestrian's identity. There were no other injuries reported in the accident.
