Sherria D. Williams

Personal Injury Attorney

About Me

I am a proud native of Miami, Florida and the first attorney in my family. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology, from The Florida State University, and later earned my Juris Doctor degree from The Florida State University College of Law in 2009. I was fortunate to return to my hometown to start my legal career, advocating and protecting the residents of Miami-Dade County as an Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State Attorney, I prosecuted 100’s of cases, to verdict, from criminal traffic infractions to drug trafficking. As a selected member of Community Prosecution Unit of the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, I was instrumental in starting the Junior ASA Program at area high schools, as well as supporting and educating community members about the criminal justice system throughout the county. For the past ten years, I have investigated personal injury protection, homeowners’ insurance matters and fraudulent claims on behalf of insurance carriers. As an attorney at Rubenstein Law, I have the privilege of representing victims of crimes, individuals affected by others negligence, and fighting for the justice they deserve.

I am a proven leader and community supporter. I am a proud mentor with Women of Tomorrow, a Board Member on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, a Board Member for Big Dreams for Her, a member of the South Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a Member of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association, a Member of the TJ Reddick Bar Association, a Wish Granter with the Make A Wish Foundation, and on the Florida Bar- Leadership Academy Committee. My core values aid me to leading a balanced life socially and professionally.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and rooting for the Florida State Seminoles.
