Federal Tort Claim Act case in which a USPS semi-truck rear-ended our client's vehicle eventually leading to our client needing a lower back surgery. The matter was defended by the United States Attorneys' Office. During discovery, we were able to gain valuable admissions from the driver of the USPS truck that he was overdriving the headlights during this nighttime crash, meaning he was driving at a pace in which the distance to stop was greater than the distance he was able to see in front of him.
