Plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign and caused a collision with another vehicle attempting to turn in front of it. Despite minor damage to the vehicles involved, the Plaintiff underwent a cervical and shoulder surgical procedure to help relieve persistent pain. We had to overcome a biomechanical argument that the damage and force involved in this incident could not have caused the alleged damages. We were successful in obtaining nearly $600,000 for our client.
