Plaintiff slipped and fell inside of his apartment in his bathroom due to conditions the landlord knew might cause such an incident. The landlord failed to correct the dangerous condition and as a result, the Plaintiff required a lower back surgery and a left knee surgery. Plaintiff admittedly had a twenty year history of lower back issues, including a recommendation for the same surgery he ultimately underwent just a month prior to this incident. Despite these facts, we were able to obtain more than $300,000 for our client.
