Columbia County, FL - One Killed, Two Hurt in Car Accident on Northeast Christie Street
One person is dead and two others injured following a car accident in Columbia County on Monday, July 6th. The crash happened on U.S. 441.
According to police, a 45-year-old Lake City man was traveling southbound on 441 when he crossed the centerline and struck a northbound vehicle driven by a 57-year-old woman from Lake City. The Lake City man was killed in the crash while the woman and her 34-year-old passenger were transported to Lake City Medical Center with serious injuries. Broward County, FL - Two Teenagers Killed in Car Accident on State Road 7
Two teenagers were killed and three others injured in a single-car crash that took place in Broward County on Saturday, July 4th. The accident happened in Tamarac just before 1:00 a.m.
Police and rescue workers responded to the southbound lanes of State Road 7 in response to the crash. According to reports, a 17-year-old female was driving on SR 7 when her car veered off the roadway and struck a concrete pole. The car was split into two pieces. The driver was killed in the crash, along with a 14-year-old passenger. Three other passengers, ranging in age from 14 to 16, were taken to a hospital where they were listed in serious condition.
